We had a really exciting concert on Saturday 9th November  at the concert hall which involved everyone who plays in Shining Brass. The concert was a mixture of pieces from the group but also a chance to perform their pieces accompanied by Mr Moxon on the piano which they will go on to record for their GCSE and A Level studies.
Thank's for coming and we hope you were impressed.
Sorry, the sound is not in sync. We may get round to correcting this.

NYMAZ, BBE and North Yorkshire County Music Service

Masterclass - 31st June 2019

"Well done to all that attended the masterclass yesterday at Catterick Garrison organised by NYMAZ, BBE and North Yorkshire County Music Service. What a great day it was! Led by the amazing Katrina Marzella she kept us focussed all day and we all enjoyed the classes in small ensemble playing, a very informative conducting course, funk and improvisation music and composing a 12 bars blues piece which was performed by Flat Cap Brass. I'm sure we all picked up some great skills from the day."
