Christmas Concert 2017 Sunday, 17th December, saw Sarah Woodward take her first Senior Band Christmas Concert, and what an outstanding concert it was. The band performed an ambitious, festive spectacular under her leadership that wowed the audience. The concert included a beautiful Night Before Christmas Narration featuring Susan Clay and solos by Jeanette Kendall, Ben Smailes and Rory Towler. The evening saw the second set of Band Awards: · The Geoffrey Marshall cup for musicianship – Grace Walker · Annie Cutler Cup – Steven Kay · Keith Maw Shield – Malcolm Dowson · Rollinson Rosebowl – Conor Lally The band would like to wish all their supporters and residents of Kirkbymoorside and surrounding towns and villages and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
