The Ryedale Centre  is an association for National Trust members who live in or near Ryedale. It is a meeting formed for like-minded people.

There are lectures, visits to houses and gardens and other places of interest both inside and outside the region, monthly walks and pub lunches, evening events and an annual holiday.

There are two major fund-raising events each year the Summer Fair , and the Christmas Craft Fair  both are held at Nunnington Hall.

The Summer Fair has stalls, music & plenty of fun for the children and of course Nunnington Hall and its gardens ( and shop and tea-shop) are also open.

The Christmas Fair (log fires, mince pies!) has a great range of excellent local crafts for sale and there are demonstrations. For these two days the National Trust shop and tea-shop also open.

Money raised helps to provide important extras for Nunnington Hall, Rievaulx Terraces and Bransdale, with particular emphasis on visitor benefits It also also supports The National Trust in projects both locally and further afield.

Single membership is £5, and for a couple it is £8 per year: for further details telephone the membership secretary on 01653 694595.
